“Hanifa School Celebrates Successful orbital insertion of Mangalyaan”
With the advent of the Man in the outer space and taking the first step on to the Moon; humanity has wonderfully strived to explore the universe further, pushing back the horizons of science and human knowledge with every single discovery. The successful launch of the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) has led India to the league of the coveted nations who have had achieved this marvellous feat.
Students of Hanifa School equipped to tackle Personal Interviews
The students of Higher Secondary Section at Hanifa School (Eng. Medium), Borsad recently had live training session dealing on the theme of ‘Interview Preparation’ on 18th September 2014. The XI-XII grade students had the honour of being in person with Shri Parimal Gandhi – an International Trainer with an illustrious and vast experience. It was a One day Workshop that simulated real life situations and sharing lessons through practical demonstrative sessions.
The Director-Zuber Gopalani, Principal-Ms. Harinder Dhillon and the team of senior faculty members were also present at the workshop. They addressed the students stressing upon the need of conducting varied co-curricular programmes, workshops and to develop an edge in Soft Skills besides the academic curricula. The students were overjoyed to have an enjoying and an enlightening session and most of them shared their experiences in the end.

Student-Teachers steal the show at Teacher’s Day Celebrations
5th September is celebrated as the ‘Teacher’s Day’ to mark the birthday of our late Vice-President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan all over India. The students at Hanifa School, Borsad celebrated the day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The senior grade students came dressed up as teachers and took over the teaching periods for the first half of the academic session. Later, a cultural programme was organized by the students who presented varied items viz. Group songs, dances and parodies. The students’ presentation filled the hearts of the teachers and the audience with joy and laughter.
The celebrations were finally concluded with the Principal – Ms. Harinder Dhillon’s address to the teachers and students wherein she stressed upon the need of good teachers with a greater responsibility towards building a stronger nation by educating the youth. The students and teachers had a festive lunch in the end.
