HANIFA SCHOOL – TELLS TALES OF ALL TIMES @ SADABAHAR KAHANIYA Hanifa School, Borsad celebrated its Annual Concert – 2014 titled SADABAHAR KAHANIYA – Tales of All Times on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 with great fervour & enthusiasm. The programme depicted varied popular Childhood stories dramatized by the students of the school from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary Section. The events had varied song & drama representations – Choir singing, songs like School Chale Hum Song, Nani Teri Morni, Maat Tu Kitni Achi Hai Song & Cartoon Songs, and skits like Rhino Story, Molly the Mouse, The Pied Piper of Haemlin and The Wizard of OZ. The students gave a splendid performance in their individual acts & events and won the hearts of the audience & the invited guests of honour with their charismatic performance. The event was graced by Shri Faisal Fazlani – Chairman, School Management Committee. The Guests of Honour were Shri Rakesh Shankar – The Collector of Anand, Shri S R Malik – The Commissioner Income Tax, Vadodara and Shri Ashok Kumar – District Superintendent of Police, Anand. The Collector Shri Rakesh Shankar recited a poem which he wrote on the spot to praise the event and extended his open cooperation from the administration for the development of the school & its students. The DSP Shri Ashok Kumar stressed on the need of the aptitude test and talent hunt. Besides, the Commissioner of Income Tax Shri S R Malik recollected fond memories of his school days wishing to be a student again. The Director Zuber Gopalani addressed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks to the invited guests. The Principal Ms. Harinder Dhillon also applauded the children & the teachers for their continuing efforts. It was heartening to observe the merit of the students getting recognized amidst the rural backdrop in the town of Borsad.
A team of student counsellors and trainers from Aishabai and Haji Abdul Latif Charitable trust, Mumbai visited Hanifa School for almost a week long Student counselling session and Teacher’s Workshop.
They aimed at reaching out to students’ needs and addressing their issues by a way of innovative games and varied activities designed for them. A personalised meeting was arranged with students so as to provide a individual feedback, suggestions and guidance to their academic or co – curricular issues.
The entire week schedule comprised of games, activities and programmes for students of class 6 to 10.
The student’s parents also weer involved along with the teaching staff members by providing specific tips, suggestions and guidance for implementation as they are the stake holders in the holistic development of students.
Hanifa School celebrated National Education Day on occasion of birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, an Indian scholar, a senior political leader of the Indian Independence movement and the first education minster of independent India. According to him, “Education imparted by heart can bring revolution in the society”
